From March 27th to 28th, a regional workshop hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Trade Organization (WTO), Korea Customs Service and Kyung Hee Overseas Development and Consulting (KODAC) was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Songdo, Incheon. Customs Service officials from 14 different Asia-Pacific countries, along with representatives of ADB, WTO and KODAC, joined the workshop to share their knowledge on ‘Promoting Connectivity through Trade Facilitation and Aid for Trade’.

KODAC staff contributed in successfully finishing the workshop by closely cooperating with each of the organizations and through rigorous preparations. Professor Jaesung Kwak, the representative consultant at KODAC, mentioned in his welcoming remarks that to develop the results from this workshop he hopes to continue the cooperative relationship between KODAC and each of the organizations.

Through this workshop, KODAC improved their capacity to host academic conferences and recognized the recent trends in the field of ‘trade facilitation’ and ‘aid for trade’.

We hope that KODAC and representatives from all of the organizations develop into great partners.
