As a part of “Increasing rural income through Senegal village environment improvement” project which KODAC is currently undertaking as a performance management cooperation project, an entrance road to Bonnava village has been successfully constructed.
Since 2015, KODAC has been in charge of performance management of projects being conducted by 4 partner organizations in 3 different countries (Senegal, Rwanda and Cambodia) through KOICA’s Academic Partnership Program performance management projects.
The “increasing rural income through Senegal village environment improvement” project aims to increase rural income through improving the environment of Bonnava village and strengthening the capacities of the villagers with one of our partner organizations “the better world”.
To overcome the underdeveloped agricultural environment of Bonnava village, KODAC has carried out a consulting which mainly dealt with easing the transportation of agricultural products and improving the benefits of transportation. As a result, the construction of the road began in May and was completed in November, 2016.
In the inauguration ceremony, the Korean ambassador to Senegal, the head of KOICA office in Senegal, the mayor and government officials of Tivaouane Peulh-Niaga region, the village representatives and the villagers attended.
KODAC will provide consulting to create results for the better world’s Senegal project and try to reach the project’s goals.
